Brünnhildeby Ulf (2021)
Brünnhilde is one of the more well-known female figures of Germanic lore - Often being thought of as the daughter of Odin and the leader of the Valkyries.
She has become a symbol of strength and beauty of the Aryan woman and her final act of devotion to the Aryan man is legendary: For though the mortal hero Sigurd betrayed her love and she killed him for it, she, in turn, gave up her own immortal life to burn on the funeral pyre with her only true love.
The discerning eye may notice that this beautiful work of art by Ulf was directly inspired by Arthur Rackham's classic 1910 illustration of Brünnhilde:
